captn&hook: We bought our boat in March 2007 and shortly after that we stayed on the boat for 3 months to make sure we could conduct business effectively and live comfortably on the boat. We liked it so much we went back to the house and started talking about selling the house. We had some updates to do and procrastinated alot...And finally in January 2010 we put a "for Sale" sign in the yard and sold our house in Dunedin, FL May 28, 2010. We SOLD everything except a few very personal items and moved on the boat to start our "New Adventure".
